We had great fun to finish up Seachtain na Gaeilge with our Lá Glas and a tráth ma gCéist for the older classes.  La Fhéile Pádraig daoibh go léir!.

Well done to our joint Students of the Week, Jack and Ben from the senior room and our junior room winner Maryann, you are all putting in a great effort, keep it up!

We have great news from the weekend.  Katie o’ Neill came second in the Under 12 Community Games Handwriting Competition.  She will now go forward to represent Carlow in the National Finals in September.  Well done Katie, a fantastic achievement, we are all very proud of you and look forward to supporting you in September.

We had a fantastic Pancake Party in the hall today for Pancake Tuesday.  Thank you to everyone who made pancakes and helped out, everybody went home well fed! 

Congratulations to our Student of the Week winners, Andrea and Katie, you are both putting in a great effort.  We would like to wish Katie the very best of luck in the Community Games handwriting competition on Saturday, we know you will do your best and we are very proud of you.

We had great fun doing Box Aerobics for the last six weeks up in the hall.  A huge thank you to Joe from School Fitness Ireland for teaching the classes every week.  

A huge thank you to all the parents and grandparents who supported our Gardening Club by purchasing pots of daffodils today.  The children made €125 which they will now reinvest back into their Gardening Club to buy seeds, plants etc.  It was lovely for the children to see the results of their planting going to such good use and we...

A huge thank you to Aoife Patterson who helped the children make their own Willow Wigwam as part of our Creative Schools Project.  There will be hours of fun playing in there and it will be lovely to see the change of seasons on the branches too.  

Congratulations to Grace and Liam who are our Students of the Week for this week.  It’s great to see children from the oldest class in both rooms setting such a good example, well done!!
