Congratulations to our 6th class, Oisín, Darragh, Dylan, Sarah, Declan, Charlie, Conor and Kyle who graduated this week.  We wish them every success and happiness in the future.  Thank you to everyone who helped prepare the graduation, we had a lovely afternoon up in the hall where there were beautiful decorations and goodies on display.  Enjoy the Summer break and...

Well done to all the children for putting on a short showcase of their Music Generation classwork today for parents.  Thank you to Elspeth for all her hard work again this year.  

We had a great day today for our annual sports day in school.  Not even the arrival of heavy showers could dampen the mood.  A big thank you to Seamus O’ Shea for supplying bales, tyres and barrels for the obstacle course and to Chris Walsh for the ice cream treat at the end.  It is much appreciated.  

Congratulations to our boys and girls football teams who competed in the Festival of Football in Highview AC yesterday with Drummond NS.  The girls won out their section and Captain Aoife Dalton as well as Shonagh O’ Shea, Emma Kavanagh and Bill Kennedy were selected for the team of the tournament.  A great achievement, well done everybody.  Aoife returned with...

Thank you to Beekeeper Paul O’ Donnell for coming to give the children an up close view of a working hive.  The home made honey went down a great treat!

Our Green Schools Committee raised our 5th Green Flag today for Biodiversity.  Well done everyone for all your hard work.  

There was great excitement this morning for our annual school tour.  We headed off early to Fort Lucan and had a fantastic day in the sunshine, even the teachers couldn’t resist and went down the water slides too.  Fantastic memories made for all the children!

A huge thank you to Sharon Doyle for volunteering her gymnastic expertise today and giving all children a taster session.  We had great fun up in the hall and we will definitely saw some future gymnasts in action!  

Congratulations to all the children in second class who made their First Holy Communion on Saturday.  We hope you all enjoyed the beautiful sunshine afterwards.

A huge thank you to Aoife Dalton for surprising everyone on Friday with an ice-cream.  It was a very thoughtful gesture and much appreciated in the sunshine.  Thanks Aoife!
