A huge thank you to Damien Jordan and Philip Connors for coming out to do a half day blitz with the children today.  They really enjoyed all the fun and activities and we wish Damien the best of luck on Saturday.

Today we said goodbye to the newest members of our school – our 4 chicks.  For the last 3 weeks the children have been watching the 7 eggs in the incubator and on day 21 we started to see the first signs of life.  On the first day we had one chick but by the end of the next day...

Congratulations to our Cumann na mBunscol Hurling team who played in a blitz with Drummond, Glynn and Ballymurphy and  qualified for the Semi-Final of the competition on Wednesday.  We look forward to supporting you in the next stages of the competition.

Well done to Dylan, Sarah and Aoife who represented the school so well at the Green Flag Award Ceremony in Hotel Kilkenny on Wednesday where we received our 5th Green Flag for Bio-Diversity.  The whole Green Schools committee with the help of Ms. Dunne put in great work to secure the flag and we will have a flag raising ceremony...

A huge thank you to Garry Coady from the F.A.I. who visited the school on Friday to introduce the children to Futsal, focusing on fun games and activities to improve agility, balance and coordination.  As the ball used is heavier the ball is on the ground for the majority of the game so more children are able to get involved.

On Friday afternoon, we had a very enjoyable Farm Day at the school.  A huge thank you to Seamus and Francis for organising it all.  The National Dairy Council and Tírlan were both represented and gave each child a fantastic Goodie Bag to take home.  All the local farmers pulled out all the stops and we had a wide array...
