Congratulations to our Students of the Week, Emilia and Órla, great work from you both!  

Our hurlers enjoyed a blitz in Bahana on Thursday with Tynock, Ballymurphy, Glynn and Drummond.  They reached the semi-final where they play Tynock after the Bank Holiday weekend.  Thank you to everyone who helped out on the day, the refreshments went down a treat.

Well done Sarah and Patrick, our two students of the week for this week, it’s great to see all the hard work continuing until the end of the year.

Congratulations Andrea and Shonagh, delighted to see you both winning the award for the second time this year, well done.  

Congratulations to our 5th and 6th class who made their confirmation on Friday.  A huge thank you to Ms. Dunne, Fr. Aughney, Bishop Dennis and all the parents for making it such a special occasion for the children.

Congratulations Liam and Eóin on your Student of the Week awards, you are both working very hard!  

Hard luck to our Cumann na mBunscol Football team, it was not to be and they lost out to a very strong Tynock side on the night.  We are extremely proud of their efforts, they never gave up and kept trying until the end.   A huge thank you to all our supporters last night and especially to Paul Fenlon and...

Congratulations Kyle and Eliza, you both deserve your Student of the week awards this week, well done.  

We had a lovely visit today from the KCLR outside broadcast bus.  A huge thank you to Brian Redmond and the team for all the goody bags and balloons.  There is definitely a future in radio for some of the children in St. Michael’s N.S.!  Thanks also to Sharon Foley for organising the visit.    

Congratulations to our school football team who are through to the Cumann na mBunscol Football Final next week after a very exciting match against Glynn yesterday evening which went to penalties.  Well done to all involved and we look forward to the final against Tynnock
