Thank you to Paudie and Damo for organising a G.A.A. Cluster Blitz for us in Bahana today.  The children practiced their skills in small fun games and then put all their learning into action in a series of hurling and football matches.  What a great way to finish an action packed week!

We were very lucky with the weather for our 2022 Sports Day.  Everyone had great fun and the day was topped off with a lovely ice cream treat in the sunshine.  Thank you to Chris Walsh for the Ice creams and Seamus O’ Shea for coming up with the goods for the much sought after obstacle course.

On Tuesday, we went on our school tour to Clara Lara, where we had great fun and got very wet!  

Congratulations Ava, Hannah and Ava.  It’s great to see our two eldest girls leading by example and picking up a joint Student of the Week award. Well done girls    

Congratulations to our 2nd Class who made their First Holy Communion on Saturday.  They were fantastic on the day and did themselves and their families very proud.  

Hard luck to our Cumann na mBunscol hurlers who lost out to Tynock in the Semi Final on Wednesday.

Congratulations to our Students of the Week, Emilia and Órla, great work from you both!  

Our hurlers enjoyed a blitz in Bahana on Thursday with Tynock, Ballymurphy, Glynn and Drummond.  They reached the semi-final where they play Tynock after the Bank Holiday weekend.  Thank you to everyone who helped out on the day, the refreshments went down a treat.
